FLYING LUTTENBACHERS, THE Systems Emerge From Complete Disorder CD (ugEXPLODE) 13.98A ridiculously awesome progblast sci-fi concept album that chronicles the post-apocalyptic reassembly of all organic matter on Earth into a single gargantuan superpredator, 2003's Systems Emerge From Complete Disorder stands out from the rest of the Luttenbachers discography for a couple of reasons. First off, it's just Weasel Walter here, no band, Weasel flying solo and composing and performing everything on the album. And it's insane to hear how proficient this guy is...Systems Emerge is a series of mind boggling instrumental avant-prog-jazz-blastcore attacks influenced by Xenakis, every track is insanely complicated and noisy, with little bits of fusion, no wave, black metal, Carl Stalling, grindcore, and KK Null-esque guitar noise orchestrated into brutal hyperspeed chaos symphonies. And it culminates with the 23 minute finale 'Rise Of The Iridescent Behemoth', an epic blastscape of lightspeed blastbeats, baroque piano, screeching sax, and a maelstrom of crackling electronics. Mind blowing shit, one of the finest slabs of "brutal prog" ever. Awesome full color molecular packaging design from Weasel, with a booklet that folds out into a poster insert.
