This is pretty weird stuff,from the band name, to the Mike Patton gone DIY avant-grind, Riot In The Hive Mind is a brilliant, difficult album that combines Melvins -meets- Page 99 chaotic sludge tantrums, damaged melodic dirges that sound like Isis and Jesu drunk and jamming in the basement, spastic howling indie-pop mashed up with gnarly Am Rep noiserock mutations, breakneck machinegun blastbeats, and confrontational surrealist anti-authoritarian commentary. Weird and warped, killer stuff! The CD comes in a 7" sized booklet loaded with bizarre artwork and writing.
