Brutal, fiilth-encrusted stoner blast / doomthrash from North Carolina...I remember seeing these guys play in a kudzu-covered backyard somewhere out in the countryside around Raleigh several years ago while on tour. We were all bulldozed by FACEDOWNINSHIT�s crushing, crusty SABBATH n� Southern Rock -influenced riffage and gnarly bursts of speedy, destroyed crossover thrash. These guys pick up the torch that fellow North Caroliners COC dropped after Technocracy. It�s not all feral crustcore tho...the band incorporates a NEUROSIS influence with folksy cellos and melancholy, apocalyptic melodies,too. Ugly, majestic dirge-thrash, a black-lung mashup of EYEHATEGOD, NEUROSIS, HIS HERO IS GONE, and LYNYRD SKYNYRD.
