Self-described as "dark, vicarious, pernicious, sinister, hateful, drug influenced, tortured, philosophical and barbaric doom". Two double cds of ultra depressive, dirgey, near ambient drones via subterranean Doom Metal. A murky morass of slow motion riffs, amphibious guitar solos and tortured cries. But also strangely beautiful, at times recalling the lugubrious soundscapes of Labradford or Magnog. Metal for the drone set, perhaps? While at least well known enough in their home, the UK, to merit a "fuck you" on the thanks list to the Electric Wizard album, in stoner-rock lovin' America they seem destined to be overlooked--due to their brutally uncommercial sound, their ultra-positive drug stance, and their apparent disinterest in allowing anyone to buy their music.
