Man, it's been ages since I've heard anything new from Fetus Eaters. These Los Angeles grindfreaks have been playing their quirky, goofy brand of

"vomitcore" for years, a mutant fusion of Naked City genre splicing weirdness, gory Carcass-inspired grind, and a stoner comedy act, played by four guys with

names like Headsmasher, Lor D. Estroyer, Kevin Fetus, and, uh, Fred Johnson. Their side of this 7" blazes through seven short blasts of warped grind filled

with Barfly samples, electronic textures, fucked up vocal noises, kazoo, and other odd sounds, again proving that these guys are heirs to the throne

of Spazztic Blurr.

Also from California, Maggot Colony play it a little more straight but still mix up a couple of different styles to keep things interesting, with four songs

of brutal D-beat driven grindcore that unleashes a steady stream of fierce blastbeats and slow Eyehategod style sludge parts. Their like Excruciating Terror

gone Lousiana bayou doom or something. Crushing, to say the least. This platter is pressed on grey marble colored vinyl, and comes ina full color
