DEV/NULL  E-Boyz Revenge: 230 BPM Eternal  LP   (Violent Turd)   8.98
E-Boyz Revenge: 230 BPM Eternal IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE FOR ORDER

Brutal splatterbreak drum n' bass is something that I've been really getting into lately, and I've been keeping an eye out for stuff from the most insane, grinding grinding fringes of breakcore. One recent discovery is Dev/Null, who I had actually heard before from his track on the Agoraphobic Nosebleed PCP Torpedo remix 2xCD, which will probably give you a clue that this is going to be a lot noisier and heavier than yer typical breakcore record. This limited edition 12" is the first actual Dev/Null release that I've found, released on the New Zealand glitchcore/breakcore label Violent Turd a couple of years ago in a limited pressing of 750 copies, and we got some of the last copies available. The grind/breakcore connection is what first led me to check out Dev/Null, and I found out that it goes beyond just the ANB remix. Dev/Null was actually a former member of sludge legends Grief and Pittsburgh tech-grinders Fate Of Icarus, but it was in the late 90's that he started to work with crazed beat-driven electronic music, and after the breakup of Fate Of Icarus, started to record and tour as Dev/Null, releasing brutal extreme rave violence that combines blasting 1,000 mph breaks with dubby beats, jackhammer gabba blasts, old school orchestral hits, and hardcore ragga. The beats are totally fucked up, sliced up and plastered back together into jarring, stuttering, insanely complex blastbreaks that remind me of Venetian Snares or a more violent Shitmat. This shit is AWESOME. Black vinyl, packaged in a plain black DJ sleeve.
