Vicious modern metalcore that features veterans of Cattlepress, Ripping Corpse, and Dim Mak amongst it's ranks. We caught this band at CBGB's a couple of years ago, and were thoroughly abused by their tight-as-fuck, brutal metal blast. The Killing Plan brings more of their particular brand of extreme thrash...there's something distinctly "street" about these tunes, with gritty, savage bursts of stop-on-a-dime drumming (drummer Brandon Thomas' performance is smokin' on this album), intricate guitar interplay + super-powerful riffs, and concise songs. Sort of like old school NYC metalcore band MERAUDER, if they turned into some sort of esoteric, slaytanic post-thrash/quasi-grind outfit. We're huge fans of Cattlepress, too, and fans of that band's twisted, satanic (and uniquely NYC) sludge/metal should find much to like here as well.
