EYEHATEGOD Preaching The End Time Message CD (Emetic) 15.98Latest from New Orlean's mightiest is upon us. Preaching The End Time Message is similiar to the 10 Years Of Abuse and Southern Discomfort in that it's just a rarities collection and not a new album proper, but I can never get enough Eyehategod. Culled from various singles, splits, live records, and demos spanning the past few years, this is an awesome dosage of Eyehategod's Sabbath-meets-Black Flag-meets-Melvins, drug devouring, filth encrusted, feedback splattered swamp thug doom. This disc features the alternative version of "Methamphetimine" that originally appeared on the Cry Now,Cry Later Vol. 1 compilation from 1993, the alternative version of "Serving Time In The Middle Of Nowhere" that appeared on the Gummo soundtrack from 1997, the "Sabbath Jam" trtack that appeared on the In These Black Days: A Tribute To Black Sabbath split 7" with Anal Cunt that was released on Hydra Head in 1997, "Age Of Bootcamp" from the split 7" with Soilent Green, "I Am The Gestapo" from the split 7" with Cripple Bastards, live versions of "Jackass In The Will Of God" and "Revolution/Revelation" recorded in Tokyo in 2002, and three berserk new tracks in demo form from their next full length. These three jams, "International Narcotic", "36 Beers And A Ball Of String", and "Turn Troubled Tables", are freaking awesome, as gruesome and misanthropic and crushing as you could wish for.
