CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE LIGHT Postmeridian And Weary 3" CDR (Audio Savant) 5.98This little four-track, 3" CD houses more of the slowly developing, metallic droneworks that we enjoyed so much on the 2005 full length disc we recently
reviewed from Conversations About The Light. As with that full length (also released on Audio Savant), Conversations About The Light's Robert Hunter O.
creates a tapestry of deep rumbling feedback drones and eerie industrial whirr that gradually builds in volume and density, frequently punctuated with sheets
of shimmering high-end feedback and piercing noise flutter. There are even a few moments where an electronic melody will surface, which reminds us of a
harsher, less dreamy Troum. Indeed, fans of Troum, as well as the likes of Sunroof, Hum Of The Druid, Aeoga, and other denizens of the noisier end of the
drone spectrum will find much to enjoy here. This disc clocks in at just over 18 minutes in length, and comes packaged in a 3" jewel case with handmade cover
insert.
